1/35 M10 Mk.IIc Achilles 35366
The M10 IIC used the later M10 configuration with the distinctive rear turret counterweights. Fitting the 17-pounder required changes to the gun mounting, mantlet and ammunition stowage, and added the recognizable ring counterweight near the muzzle. Tamiya’s kit reproduces this British conversion.

The Achilles was a British adaptation of the American M10 tank destroyer supplied under Lend-Lease. Britain replaced the original 3-inch gun with its powerful 17-pounder to improve anti-tank capability against heavily armored German vehicles.
Achilles vehicles served in Northwest Europe and Italy in 1944-45. This kit includes one option from each theater. Its painting instructions identify the British Olive Drab No. 15 family, which should be kept distinct from the American Olive Drab applied to unconverted U.S. M10s.
