The X/XF store bottles shown here are Tamiya acrylic; the original numeric X/XF codes do not independently identify bottled chemistry. X-20A is offered only for these acrylic bottles. TS aerosol is a separate spray application and is never mixed wet with the bottled paints. Allow coats to dry and follow the paint maker’s application guidance.

Only the display-base rocks (brown) and water (blue) receive color names. The Pteranodon itself is left to package/reference illustrations and personal artistic choice. The two shopping options below do not form a complete prescribed animal palette, and this is not a no-paint-needed classification.

Areas without a fixed source palette

• Entire Pteranodon coloration is left to packaging/reference illustrations and modeller choice. The original only names brown rocks and blue water.

An approximate candidate is a shopping option, not a manufacturer equivalence. Color names do not prove matching pigments, sheen, opacity or dried appearance. Original ratios are retained, but a substitute mixture is untested. Make a separate test sample before using it on the model.
