The exact ICM kit instructions supply the paint codes and placement. The store paints below are provisional alternatives from ICM’s manufacturer conversion chart, not exact color or finish guarantees. Metallic reflection, transparency and sheen may differ; swatches are only digital previews. All paints, alternatives, finishing coats and supplies start unchecked. Select only the paints needed for your chosen markings. Unavailable products remain disabled. AK 3GEN and Vallejo bottles are water-based acrylics. Use AK 3GEN thinner only with AK 3GEN paints; do not mix different brands or chemistries. Optional varnishes are separate coats over fully cured paint, not mixture components; test paint and decal compatibility. Choose JD-1D 89075 (VU-3, 1950s) or 140356 (China Lake, 1958); use the matching diagrams on PDF pages 23–24. Preserve each aircraft’s orange/yellow areas and clear navigation-light colors.
