Popularly known as the "Super Yamato" class Battleship, Design A-150 was a concept ship designed for the Imperial Japanese Navy prior to the outbreak of World War II in the Pacific. The A-150 had two planned ships in the class, however both were cancelled. The designs were given numbers 798 and 799. Design "798" would have been built in the same drydock as Shinano, while "799" would have been built in Kure. The armament would have been significantly different compared to the regular Yamato-class Battleships. holding 6x 20" guns instead of the default 9x 18" guns seen on Yamato and Musashi. Though designed, the two ships were never given official names. That can only be left up to us for decide. This Fujimi NEXT series ship has provided the name "Kii" for their kit name, and it represents what would've been the A-150 very nicely!
