The exact ICM kit instructions supply the paint codes and placement. The store paints below are provisional alternatives from ICM’s manufacturer conversion chart, not exact color or finish guarantees. Metallic reflection, transparency and sheen may differ; swatches are only digital previews. All paints, alternatives, finishing coats and supplies start unchecked. Select only the paints needed for your chosen markings. Unavailable products remain disabled. AK 3GEN and Vallejo bottles are water-based acrylics. Use AK 3GEN thinner only with AK 3GEN paints; do not mix different brands or chemistries. Optional varnishes are separate coats over fully cured paint, not mixture components; test paint and decal compatibility. Choose one of four OV-10D+ schemes on PDF pages 21–24: 155489 VMO-1 (1990), 155494 or 155473 VMO-2 (Saudi Arabia, 1991), or 155499 VMO-1 (early 1990s). W is explicitly 50% ICM 1075 Grey Blue + 50% ICM 1001 White (1:1). The two Tamiya XF bottles shown are chart-based component alternatives; the original 1:1 ratio is retained as a reference, but their mixed color has not been verified against the ICM mix. Test and approve the result first. Mix only these compatible Tamiya XF components together, never AK/Vallejo with Tamiya. Choose the indicated armament and tank configuration before painting. Tamiya XF bottles use Tamiya X-20A thinner, not AK thinner.
