Build This Aircraft
All four P-38J marking schemes, common assembly and optional equipment colors are retained. Flight Blue FS 35190 has no printed paint code or sheen; it remains distinct from Flat Medium Blue 4307AP. Optional bombs, rockets, ladder and tank choices follow the diagrams. The muted pale-blue suggestion for Flight Blue is Vallejo 71.332, whose maker reference is FS35450, not the original FS35190; this is a visual approximation and no corrected source code is claimed. Original scheme: Version A: Lockheed P-38J Lightning “Miss Ann”, 7th FG, Little Snoring AB, England, March 1944 (as printed), common assembly without optional stores/ladder. Original paint names, codes and standards remain visible. Every approximate store suggestion starts unchecked; these are not verified color equivalents. Candidate sheen, chemistry and effect can differ. Do not mix paint families. Tools and thinning supplies are optional and unchecked. Use each thinner only with its named paint family; sprays need no added thinner. Digital previews are approximate. Out-of-stock products are disabled. Follow the original instructions for placement and original mixtures.
