Marking choices

• First scheme: P-61B-1-NO “Swing Shift Skipper”, 239440 (42-39440), 547st Night Fighter Squadron (as printed). All nine source paint roles apply.
• Second scheme: P-61B-2-NO “Sleepy Time Gal II”, 239414 (42-39414), 6st Night Fighter Squadron (as printed). The white marking role is omitted.

Original paint families

• The original uses N-prefixed Acrysion colors. These N codes remain unchanged; they are not treated as H-series Aqueous paints.
• Printed Mr. Color alternatives use a different paint family and start unchecked. N94 Clear Green has a blank Mr. Color code box and no printed alternative.
• The Tamiya X-25 Clear Green card is an unchecked store approximation for N94. Its maker identifies a clear green tint for aircraft navigation lights. Hue and finished sheen remain unverified.
• No paint mixture or mixing ratio is specified.

Assembly and materials

• Clear glazing and photo-etched parts are included. Use suitable CA adhesive for photo-etched parts; polystyrene cement serves styrene assembly.
• The original requires 20.0 grams of nose ballast as shown in assembly step 12.
• Assembly step 12 shows two launcher assemblies, two tanks and two bombs installed, but assigns no separate store colors. The guide adds none.
• The two separate marking pages repeat the marking pages in the full original manual. No extra palette is added.
• For decals the source specifies warm water at 40°C for 10 seconds, a clean cloth and a soft cloth.
• Optional tools and thinning purchases start unchecked. Mr. Color thinner applies to the C-series lacquer choices; X-20A applies only to the Tamiya acrylic choice.
