Your First Chance to Play the New Set

Prerelease weekend is your first opportunity to open packs from the newest Magic: The Gathering release and build a sealed deck with what you find. Prerelease Packs include everything you need to jump right into casual, structured play against friends and fellow Magic fans.

• Pairing Style: Swiss, 50-minute timed matches

• Entry Fee: $40 per player, includes 1 Prerelease Pack

• Ages: 13+ on Friday Night and ALL AGES welcome for 2-Headed Giant on Saturday (kids must come with a grown-up to participate)

Before you play…

There are a few things you need to prepare beforehand:

• Our community is super friendly to newer players, but this is not a learn-to-play event. Please complete the excellent, free tutorial on Magic Arena to learn the basics so you can hit the ground running!
• The Wizards Companion App (or the email address of your Wizards account). Play Arena? Great! Just use the email you signed up with!
• Your event ticket. We recommend buying in advance; we have limited space and pre-registering guarantees your seat. Can't make it? You can get a refund in store credit.

Cancellations/No-Shows

• Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you are late you risk forfeiting your spot to waitlisted participants.
• If after purchasing a ticket you can no longer make the event, please cancel your ticket so that we can bring someone in off the waitlist!
• Cancelled / no-show tickets will be refunded in store credit only via digital gift card minus processing fees, and forfeit all promos and prizes.
