A Place for All My Books is a cozy puzzle game about collecting, sorting, and organizing books throughout the rooms of your apartment. Players build stacks of books as personal projects, then pause to admire their work—earning rewards such as renewed energy, which can be spent on trips into the village to acquire even more books.
Over nine rounds, players visit locations, gather books, complete objectives, and earn Victory Points. At the end of the game, the player with the most Victory Points claims victory.
The organizational puzzles themselves are easy to understand, with the real challenge lying in how many you can complete at once to maximize the value of each “admire” action.
The game also features a solo mode, where you’ll compete against the rival Penelope Eveready—an energetic extrovert who always seems to snatch up the books you were hoping to collect.
