Embers Dragons
Born from violent combustions, Embers Dragons are easily recognized by their ash-speckled scales. These unique markings signify their dominance over distinct territories: Inra of the seas, born from hydrothermal vents; Nali of the flame, hatched in molten rock; Bacu of the earth, originating from explosive decaying flora; Sein of the skies, sparked to life by lightning; and Cazn of the rift, formed from the violent tearing of space and time.
When a rift opens between planes, it releases an immense amount of energy and heat, shaped by the planes it connects and the instability of the passage. The most dangerous rifts often bridge the Material Plane and the Feywild, prone to sudden and violent collapse that can devastate the surrounding areas on both sides. For Cazn dragons, however, these treacherous rifts serve as ideal nesting grounds, leading to fierce competition for control over the territories surrounding these breaches in the planar fabric. There are even rumors that ancient Cazn dragons can create their own massive rifts, but this phenomenon has never been observed.
