League Information
Magic Presents: Master the Four Elements is a fun and casual weekly event with no deck required— you’ll build one as you play!
The first time you attend, you’ll receive 6 Avatar: The Last Airbender Play Boosters to build the best 40-card deck you can. Feel free to get deck-building advice from friends and other players!
Next, you’ll pick one of four emblems that will grant you a special elemental ability as you play through 3 best-of-three matches. Collect a signature from each of your opponents on your elemental emblem, and you’ve mastered that element!
Each week, players will receive an additional pack to improve their deck, then pick a different emblem. Once you’ve collected all four emblems, turn them in to the store for your exclusive foil art print. Players that win all three of their matches at a weekly event will receive an additional Avatar Play Booster and a promo pack!
Scheduling
The league kickoff event on Friday Nov. 27th will run from 6-10pm, giving players time for deckbuilding and 3 matches. Weekly events will run from 6:30-9:30pm on Fridays. Players interested in joining the league should show up sufficiently early to build their deck; we recommend 30-50 minutes depending on experience level.
Before you play…
There are a few things you need to prepare beforehand:
- Our community is super friendly to newer players, but this is not a learn-to-play event. Please complete the excellent, free tutorial on Magic Arena to learn the basics so you can hit the ground running!
- The Wizards Companion App (or the email address of your Wizards account). Play Arena? Great! Just use the email you signed up with!
- Your event ticket. We recommend RSVPing in advance; we have limited space and pre-registering guarantees your seat.
Cancellations/No-Shows
- Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you are late you risk forfeiting your spot to waitlisted participants.
- If after RSVPing you can no longer make the event, please cancel your ticket so that we can bring someone in off the waitlist!
