As a Beginner-Level rocket kit, the Estes Illusion is carefully engineered to get you on the pad and in the air quickly. Featuring a no-glue, snap-together construction design, even the first-time rocketeer will have no problem assembling this model rocket in record time. No painting or sanding is required for this kit. The molded plastic components are ready for use straight from the box. Further, all parts are pre-colored in a vivid red, black and grey color scheme. From the tip of the sleek nosecone to the bottom of the trailing stabilizer fin, all the painting is done for you. Finish your Estes Illusion by applying the included custom graphics, self-stick decals and youâ_x0080__x0099_re ready to fly!
Launch prep for the Estes Illusion couldnâ_x0080__x0099_t be easier. Simply insert a recommended Estes engine into the plastic threaded engine mount, then pack the recovery wadding and parachute. WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines(A8-3, B4-4, B6-4, C6-5[up to 1125 ft], C6-7), starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
