Its speed and mobility allow it to strike from range and immediately relocate, reducing exposure to counter-battery fire or close assault.
Mobile Artillery Support
This multipart plastic kit builds 1 Whirlwind Missile Tank for use in Legiones Astartes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Built on the widely used Rhino chassis, the transport compartment is replaced with a missile launcher system capable of unleashing a variety of warheads. It excels at bombarding enemy positions from a distance, clearing objectives and suppressing threats to support advancing Legion forces.
Alongside its twin pintle-mounted bolters and smoke launchers, the kit includes a range of optional upgrades. These include a pintle-mounted weapon choice such as a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a configurable combi-weapon (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite charger). Additional options include a searchlight, dozer blade, hunter-killer missile, towing hooks, legion sigils, and crew configurations with a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.
This miniature is not Legion-specific, making it suitable for any Legiones Astartes force, whether Loyalist or Traitor.
