In Nekojima, also known as "The Island of Cats" in Japan, an electrical network is being built to power the island's bustling districts. However, the installation of electric poles is made more challenging by the island's narrow terrain and its curious cat population, which often strolls along the cables.
Nekojima is a wooden game of skill and dexterity where players must maintain balance while building the island's electrical grid. Taking turns, players place or stack Denchuu (electric poles) carefully, ensuring that no cables hang or touch. The challenge lies in not being the one to topple the delicate structure. Success in this game requires focus, strategy, and precision.
In competitive play, the player who causes the structure to collapse loses. In cooperative mode, the aim is to build as far as possible without the structure falling.
