Miniature Painting with Chrys Rowden
Join us every third Saturday beginning in August from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for an evening of miniature painting with award winning artist Chrys Rowden.
Chrys has been painting miniatures for three years and has quickly built a reputation for both his skill and his dedication to helping others grow. His accomplishments include Gold awards at Model Fiesta and ASMS, pins at Golden Demon, and a Silver award in the Las Vegas Open Masters Category, along with a coveted Verkos coin. Over the past year, he has taught classes throughout San Antonio and Austin, sharing techniques and encouraging painters of all experience levels to improve their craft.
A lifelong nerd with a love for science fiction and fantasy, Chrys is especially passionate about fantasy miniatures and storytelling through paint. His goal is simple: help the Texas miniature painting community reach its full potential while sharing the joy of the hobby with others.
Classes are limited to just 10 painters to ensure plenty of individual attention. Tickets are only $30.
We'll provide the miniature, lighting, and a wet palette. Just bring your favorite brush, or pick one up at LionHeart before class begins.
New painters are welcome, and experienced hobbyists will find plenty of opportunities to refine their techniques. Come spend an evening creating, learning, and connecting with fellow hobbyists.
