READ IT BECAUSE
Discover what happens when the champions of Order clash over a shared goal. As the Seraphon, Stormcast Eternals, and Cities of Sigmar vie for the same prize, a darker power stirs—one that could unite them against a common foe. This marks Adrian Tchaikovsky’s first full-length Warhammer Age of Sigmar novel, continuing the story begun in his acclaimed short tale Written in Stars.
THE STORY
Long ago, the Seraphon temple-ship Wings of Serendipitous Fire was torn from the skies of Shyish—not by Chaos, but by the misguided hands of Sigmar’s own servants. Now, Irixi Starseer, faithful to the ancient mage-priest Sek’atta, is sent to reclaim a fragmented prophecy hidden within the wreck’s ruins.
But others hunt the same prize. The Stormcast Eternal Vael Scar-Helm seeks redemption through memories of past failures, while Perlo, a cunning mage of the Cities of Sigmar, leads a company of Steelhelms in pursuit of unimaginable treasure. Yet as their ambitions intertwine, a sinister and unseen threat emerges—one that could unravel the very fabric of the Great Plan itself.
