Construction and optional painting

Apply the head and shield stickers before closing the parts. The PS kit includes the rifle, beam saber, opening Non-Kinetic Shield and a small CE-1 weapon stand. A PVC wire connects the deployed shield; cut it to the length you want for the pose. One SB-13 blade is listed as a spare.

Choose the optional backpack sticker and the alternative shield stickers shown in the assembly steps. The shield stores the saber grip, and the rifle and saber can be held in either hand. Bandai recommends water-based paint. The Action Base 5 shown supporting the mobile suit is sold separately.

RLM75 gray is printed with Japanese RLM75 Gray Violet. Metallic blue green is the English label for Japanese aotake-iro.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

7 printed roles use 14 distinct named ingredients. 7 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
2. Purple. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Purple AK11073. Purple is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Cobalt blue. No candidate is chosen. The available AK Cobalt Blue is metallic, while this ingredient calls for an ordinary blue.
5. Brown. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Deep Brown AK11102. Deep Brown supplies a generic brown approximation, kept distinct from Pale Brown, Mahogany and Wood Brown. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
