Construction and optional painting

Build GQuuuuuuX with the rifle, axe, shield and beam sabers. Choose the opened or unopened head, then follow the alternate configuration and attachment diagrams. Apply the detail and marking stickers by their separate symbols. Action Base 7 is sold separately.

Bandai recommends water-based paint. Keep all eleven optional recipes, including the canopy’s Metallic Blue Green and the two different metallic-green eye mixtures. Bright Blue is paired with Japanese Indy Blue, Red madder with Monza Red, and Steel with black iron color; these uncoded names do not establish modern paint product numbers.

Intermediate Blue is the printed English name where bilingual; Japanese ミディアムブルー is Medium Blue. This name pair does not establish equivalence to any modern paint called Medium Blue.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

11 printed roles use 19 distinct named ingredients. 10 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
2. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. Intermediate Blue. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Intermediate Blue AK11163. Manufacturer Intermediate Blue is a muted gray-blue candidate, supported by its English name and actual current catalog sample. The original pairs English Intermediate Blue with Japanese Medium Blue; both labels remain visible. This uncalibrated approximation is separate from the unsupported dark saturated AK11184 Medium Blue product. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Bright Blue. The original pairs Bright Blue with Japanese Indy Blue. A matching hue is not established; a light-cyan candidate is not used.
5. Cobalt Blue. No ordinary opaque Cobalt Blue match is chosen. A metallic paint with the same name would change the effect.
6. Red. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Matt Red AK11092. Matt Red supplies an opaque red candidate; matte describes the candidate, not a proven source finish. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
