Construction and optional painting

Painting is optional. Plastic nippers and tweezers are illustrated as separately sold tools. Use the supplied marking stickers as shown.

The seventeen original roles retain the distinct Steel, RLM75 Gray Violet and Metallic Blue ingredients.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

17 printed roles use 20 distinct named ingredients. 15 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

10. Russet. The printed Russet ingredient remains distinct from Red brown and Cocoa brown. A matching shade is not established.
11. Light Brown. The original Light Brown is Japanese 薄茶色, also paired with Pale Brown on another original. The reviewed orange-ochre sample does not establish that pale-brown ingredient hue; no store candidate is chosen.
12. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
