Construction and optional painting

Painting is optional. The right shoulder has a metallic-green finish choice, and the left shoulder a metallic-red finish choice; retain their separate sticker/color choices. Two beam sabers, a left-hand choice and optional spare-part uses are shown.

Action Base 7 is sold separately. The instructions also show separately sold nippers and tweezers. The recommended tools below are optional purchases. No separate pilot figure is listed; the cover character artwork is not an additional figure-painting requirement.

The source pairs English Russet with Japanese あずき色 (azuki-iro); this is a separate named ingredient, not Orange. RLM75 Gray / Japanese RLM75 gray-violet remains distinct from unnumbered Gray. Intermediate Blue is paired with Japanese ミディアムブルー (Medium Blue); that paired label does not identify a current numbered paint. White includes separate small doses of both Gray and Intermediate Blue.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

12 printed roles use 23 distinct named ingredients. 11 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

3. Intermediate Blue. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Intermediate Blue AK11163. AK11163 Intermediate Blue is a muted gray-blue candidate supported by the manufacturer chart and current catalog sample. Source Japanese Medium Blue is retained separately; no matching code or exact formula is inferred. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Red. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Matt Red AK11092. Matt Red supplies an opaque red candidate; matte describes the candidate, not a proven source finish. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
