Construction and optional painting

Beyond Global uses PS push-fit parts and includes the beam rifle, shield, two beam sabers and stickers. Follow the upper- and lower-body movement checks during assembly, and keep the small joint pins identified by the do-not-cut symbols intact.

Use model nippers to remove the parts and test the joints before adding an optional finish. Bandai recommends water-based paint; the white, salmon-pink red and yellow recipes retain their small, unmeasured tint additions. Action Base 2 and Action Base 5 are compatible display options sold separately.

Materials in the parts list: PS runners A, B1, B2, C1, D1, E1, F1, F2 and SB-13; no ABS/PE runner listed.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

5 printed roles use 8 distinct named ingredients. 4 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. Body white: White 100% + Sail Color small dose + Yellow small dose. Candidate recipe incomplete: Sail Color has no chosen store match.
2. Body blue: Cobalt Blue 60% + White 40%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Cobalt Blue has no chosen store match.
3. Body red: Salmon Pink 65% + White 35% + Gray small dose.
4. Body gray: Gray 100%.
5. Body yellow: Yellow 60% + White 20% + Orange Yellow 20% + Brown small dose.

6 mapped purchase cards and 2 disabled ingredient references cover all 8 named ingredients. Mapped cards represent 6 unique paint variants. Source-role counts are not purchase quantities. Each selected variant is added once, even if chosen for more than one source ingredient.

1. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
2. Sail Color. No calibrated hue or named water-based Sail Color candidate is established. Beige, buff and wood-base paints are not silently substituted.
3. Yellow. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Yellow AK11044. Yellow is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Cobalt Blue. AK11201 Cobalt Blue is explicitly in the metallic range. The source ordinary Cobalt Blue does not establish a metallic effect, so that candidate is rejected.
5. Salmon Pink. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Salmon AK11061. Salmon supplies a salmon-pink approximation, kept distinct from Pink. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
6. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
7. Orange Yellow. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Golden Yellow AK11041. Golden Yellow supplies a warm yellow-orange approximation, distinct from Orange and Yellow. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
8. Brown. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Deep Brown AK11102. Deep Brown supplies a generic brown approximation, kept distinct from Pale Brown, Mahogany and Wood Brown. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Optional supplies are recommendations for the tasks described above, not manufacturer-required purchases. The AK 3GEN thinner applies only to the AK 3GEN candidates. Do not paint materials the original warns against painting. Digital color squares are browsing aids; they do not prove dried color, pigment strength, sheen, metallic reflection, transparency or a successful mixture.
