Construction and optional painting

Hi-Nu has fine undergated parts and an ABS/PP B runner. Trim the marked undergates carefully; Bandai advises against painting ABS because paint may damage it. The six optional recipes cover the armor and fin funnels, while the realistic decals are supplied stickers. Tweezers can make these small stickers easier to place.

The beam rifle, hyper bazooka, shield, beam sabers and six fin funnels offer several display arrangements. Follow the movement checks when opening the funnels and changing the joints. The manual identifies its finished example as assembled without a full repaint, with panel lining and a topcoat applied. Those treatments are optional; no named topcoat product is specified.

Materials in the parts list: PS: A, C1, C2, D, E, F, G, H1, H2, I1, I2 and SB-13 runners; ABS/PP: B runner.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

6 printed roles use 12 distinct named ingredients. 5 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. Body white: White 100% + Gray small dose + Purple small dose.
2. Body blue: Cobalt Blue 80% + Light Blue 20% + White small dose. Candidate recipe incomplete: Cobalt Blue has no chosen store match.
3. Body silver: Silver 100%.
4. Body metallic orange: Gold 40% + Clear Yellow 40% + Clear Orange 20%.
5. Fin funnels light purple: White 60% + Cobalt Blue 20% + Violet 20% + Purple small dose. Candidate recipe incomplete: Cobalt Blue has no chosen store match.
6. Body gray: Gray 90% + Black 10% + Blue small dose.

11 mapped purchase cards and 1 disabled ingredient references cover all 12 named ingredients. Mapped cards represent 11 unique paint variants. Source-role counts are not purchase quantities. Each selected variant is added once, even if chosen for more than one source ingredient.

1. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
2. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. Purple. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Purple AK11073. Purple is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Cobalt Blue. AK11201 Cobalt Blue is explicitly in the metallic range. The source ordinary Cobalt Blue does not establish a metallic effect, so that candidate is rejected.
5. Light Blue. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Sky Blue AK11175. Sky Blue offers a pale blue candidate. It is distinct from the more saturated Deep Sky Blue candidate for Bright Blue. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Optional supplies are recommendations for the tasks described above, not manufacturer-required purchases. The AK 3GEN thinner applies only to the AK 3GEN candidates. Do not paint materials the original warns against painting.
