Construction and optional painting

Follow the Advanced MS Joint assembly sequence and trim the marked under gates before fitting the armor. RG Destiny uses PS, ABS and PP parts. Bandai recommends water-based paint and advises against painting the ABS mechanical sections because paint can cause breakage.

The supplied Realistic Decals are adhesive marking stickers. The kit includes the rifle, shields, Arondight sword, beam cannon and beam saber or boomerang options. The illustrated Action Base 2 is sold separately. The seventeen paint recipes include eight for Shinn Asuka; the beam-cannon blend specifically uses Olive Gray 60%.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

17 printed roles use 18 distinct named ingredients. 15 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.
