Carrier, aircraft and lower-hull choices

• The full original consists of two folded instruction-sheet sides, covering assembly steps 1–6, all parts, final painting and markings. Choose full hull or waterline before assembly. The lower hull is optional for a waterline display.
• For the submerged hull, the original prints Dark Green (Flat), FS34079, ITA MM 1710 / ITA MM Acryl 4726 OR Red (Flat), ITA MM 1550 / ITA MM Acryl 4714. These are alternatives, not a paint mixture. Both candidate cards start unchecked.
• Flat Gull Gray (Flat), FS36440 covers the hull/superstructure and the aircraft/helicopter main surfaces shown in step 6. Gunship Gray (Flat), FS36118 is used for the flight deck and the marked lifeboats. White (Flat), FS37875 covers the marked radomes and spherical fittings.
• The aircraft and helicopters are part of this palette: step 6 includes alternative aircraft, rotor/propeller colors, glazing and the underside inset. Orange (Gloss) covers marked deck equipment and alternative aircraft; Black (Flat) includes rotors, propellers and the waterline stripe. Blue Angel Blue (Gloss), FS15050 is a colored opaque gloss reference for the marked windows/glazing, not a transparent-blue instruction.
• Bright Brass (SemiGloss) applies to the ship’s propellers. Red (Gloss) appears in the aircraft underside example. Follow the drawings for the small, optional aircraft and equipment details. No crew figures or extra figure palette is specified.

Original paint families and approximate products

• The source prints ITA MM and ITA MM Acryl as separate alternative paint families for each of the 10 color roles. Both original code columns are preserved below. They are not two sets to purchase together, and no AP suffix is added to the historical codes.
• No exact Model Master paint products are selected. All store products are approximate and unchecked. FS-based candidates retain the printed color standard and required finish; named orange, red and metallic candidates still need a dried comparison. Metallic grain and the SemiGloss luster of Bright Brass are not physically verified.
• The FS15050 Mr. Color C328 candidate is out of stock at this check and stays visible but disabled. It is a lacquer-family product. Its optional T104 Mr. Color thinner also remains disabled while unavailable. Use X-20A with Tamiya X/XF acrylic candidates and Vallejo thinner with Model Air candidates.
• Optional Model Master decal products 2145 and 2146 appear in the original. Their exact products are not selected here; the listed Mark Fit is an optional different product, not an exact equivalent. Test decal solution before use. All tools and supplies start unchecked. No primer, varnish or inferred weathering colors are added.
