Construction and optional painting

Painting is optional. Take care not to tear or trap the polyester cloth cloak when attaching it. The original shows multiple Grogu head, body and display combinations.

Use the supplied sticker sheet as shown; stickers 27–29 are optional according to preference.

All fourteen Mandalorian and seven Grogu painting roles are retained. Both armor recipes are Silver 80% + Black 10% + Clear 10% mixtures. Keep the clear-red left-thigh role separate. Flat Base is an additive in the printed recipe.

Materials in the parts list: PS; PE; polyester cloth cloak.

The original Japanese Medium Blue (ミディアムブルー) is paired with printed English Intermediate Blue; Japanese Yomogi-iro (よもぎ色) is paired with printed English Lime Green. Both paired labels remain visible and those ingredients have no chosen store match.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

21 printed roles use 22 distinct named ingredients. 16 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

Named ingredients and optional store candidates

13 mapped purchase cards and 9 disabled ingredient references cover all 22 named ingredients. Mapped cards represent 11 unique paint variants. Source-role counts are not purchase quantities. Each selected variant is added once, even if chosen for more than one source ingredient.

1. Silver. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Silver AK11209. AK11209 has a matching metallic color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: metallic.
2. Black. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Black AK11029. AK11029 has a matching opaque color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. Clear. Colorless transparent paint ingredient; no compatible colorless mixing paint is established. Thinner, glaze and varnish are not substituted.
4. Cocoa Brown. No independently supported Cocoa brown shade is established. Generic Deep Brown or an invented H/C code is not silently substituted.
5. Orange Yellow. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Golden Yellow AK11041. Golden Yellow supplies a warm yellow-orange approximation, distinct from Orange and Yellow. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
6. Flat Black. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Black AK11029. Black is a matte opaque 3GEN paint and preserves the explicitly flat black effect. Candidate pigment strength remains untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
7. Wood Brown. The previously reviewed AK Wood Base sample is pale beige/khaki and does not support this named brown. No defensible water-based variant is established.
8. Brown. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Deep Brown AK11102. Deep Brown supplies a generic brown approximation, kept distinct from Pale Brown, Mahogany and Wood Brown. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
9. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
10. RLM75 Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic RLM 75 AK11826. Manufacturer identifies AK11826 as RLM 75; source spelling retained and formulation remains approximate. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
11. Medium Blue (ミディアムブルー). The paired original labels or named identity remain unresolved. No equivalence to a current store paint or numbered color is assumed.
12. Metal Black. Metal Black requires its metallic dark effect; no defensible matching product is established.
13. Sail Color. No calibrated hue or named water-based Sail Color candidate is established. Beige, buff and wood-base paints are not silently substituted.
14. Clear Red. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Clear Red AK11213. AK11213 has a matching transparent color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: transparent.
15. Light Blue (みず色). This exact Japanese/English named ingredient has no established current store equivalence. Retained as an unselected source reference; no candidate is chosen by name alone.
16. Flat Base. Original Flat Base is a flattening additive mixed into paint, not a matte color or varnish. No supported equivalent flattening additive with demonstrated mixing behavior is established in the selected family; no finish coat or thinner is substituted.
17. Flat White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a matte opaque 3GEN paint and preserves the explicitly flat white effect. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
18. Japanese Yomogi-iro (よもぎ色) / printed English Lime Green. The paired original labels or named identity remain unresolved. No equivalence to a current store paint or numbered color is assumed.
19. Pink. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Pastel Pink AK11059. Pastel Pink supplies a pale pink approximation; source pigment strength is unknown. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
20. Clear Yellow. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Clear Yellow AK11217. AK11217 has a matching transparent color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: transparent.
21. Clear Orange. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Clear Orange AK11218. AK11218 has a matching transparent color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: transparent.
22. Neutral Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. The descriptive Neutral Grey candidate supports a neutral-gray approximation. Its bottle may also serve generic Gray while both ingredient names remain separate. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Optional supplies are recommendations for the tasks described above, not manufacturer-required purchases. The AK 3GEN thinner applies only to the AK 3GEN candidates. Do not paint materials the original warns against painting. Digital color squares are browsing aids; they do not prove dried color, pigment strength, sheen, metallic reflection, transparency or a successful mixture.
