Construction and optional painting

Wing Gundam Zero uses PS parts, PE polycaps and supplied foil stickers. Seven optional recipes cover the armor, sensor, joints and rifle. The body white includes a small addition of Navy Blue; the manual gives no numeric amount for that addition. Water-based paint is recommended.

The twin buster rifle separates into two weapons, the wing binders open, and the model converts to Neo Bird mode using the illustrated parts changes. Follow the transformation sequence and keep the spare parts together. The pictured Action Base 2 is sold separately.

Materials in the parts list: PS: A1, A2, B, C, D, E1, E2 and SB-13 runners; PE: PC-002 polycaps.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

7 printed roles use 10 distinct named ingredients. 7 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. Body white: White 100% + Navy Blue small dose.
2. Abdomen red: Red 50% + Shine Red 50%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Shine Red has no chosen store match.
3. Chest blue: Indy Blue 80% + Gray 20%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Indy Blue has no chosen store match.
4. Antenna yellow: Yellow 95% + Orange Yellow 5%.
5. Sensor green: Daytona Green 90% + White 10%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Daytona Green has no chosen store match.
6. Joints gray: Gray 50% + Navy Blue 45% + Black 5%.
7. Rifle dark gray: Gray 45% + Navy Blue 40% + Black 15%.

7 mapped purchase cards and 3 disabled ingredient references cover all 10 named ingredients. Mapped cards represent 7 unique paint variants. Source-role counts are not purchase quantities. Each selected variant is added once, even if chosen for more than one source ingredient.

1. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
2. Navy Blue. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Dark Blue AK11181. Dark Blue has a dark navy-blue chart sample. It is a hue-family approximation, distinct from the near-black Midnight Blue candidate. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. Red. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Matt Red AK11092. Matt Red supplies an opaque red candidate; matte describes the candidate, not a proven source finish. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Shine Red. No sufficiently supported water-based Shine Red hue/finish candidate is established. Generic red does not establish its named hue or shine.
5. Indy Blue. No independently supported water-based Indy Blue hue/formulation is established. A similarly named blue or inferred H/C code is not used.
6. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

9. Daytona Green. No independently supported water-based Daytona Green formulation is established. An ordinary green name is insufficient to select a specific candidate.
10. Black. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Black AK11029. Black is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Optional supplies are recommendations for the tasks described above, not manufacturer-required purchases. The AK 3GEN thinner applies only to the AK 3GEN candidates. Do not paint materials the original warns against painting. Digital color squares are browsing aids; they do not prove dried color, pigment strength, sheen, metallic reflection, transparency or a successful mixture.
