Construction and optional painting

Freedom combines PS plastic parts, soft PE polycaps and supplied foil stickers. Cut the parts cleanly with nippers and fit the polycaps without crushing them. Its eight optional color recipes include the separate shades for the chest, rail cannons and main camera; Bandai recommends water-based paint.

The wings and cannons can be arranged for HiMAT and Full Burst poses. The supplied rifle, shield and beam sabers provide several equipment options, including a connected saber pose. The Action Base 2 pictured for airborne display is sold separately.

Materials in the parts list: PS: A1, A2, B1, B2, C, D, E1, E2, F1, F2 and SB-13 runners; PE: PC-002 polycaps.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

8 printed roles use 13 distinct named ingredients. 7 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. Body white: White 100% + Gray small dose.
2. Chest dark blue: Blue 40% + Red 25% + Black 20% + White 15%.
3. Abdomen blue: Indy Blue 60% + White 40% + Blue small dose. Candidate recipe incomplete: Indy Blue has no chosen store match.
4. Antenna yellow: Yellow 55% + White 30% + Orange Yellow 15%.
5. Forehead red: Monza Red 60% + Shine Red 40%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Monza Red, Shine Red has no chosen store match.
6. Joints gray: Gray 80% + Black 20%.
7. Rail cannon light gray: White 50% + Blue Gray 40% + Purple 10%.
8. Main camera light blue: Light Blue 100%.

10 mapped purchase cards and 3 disabled ingredient references cover all 13 named ingredients. Mapped cards represent 10 unique paint variants. Source-role counts are not purchase quantities. Each selected variant is added once, even if chosen for more than one source ingredient.

1. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
2. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. Blue. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Deep Blue AK11182. Deep Blue supplies an opaque blue candidate, with untested depth and pigment strength. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Red. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Matt Red AK11092. Matt Red supplies an opaque red candidate; matte describes the candidate, not a proven source finish. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
5. Black. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Black AK11029. Black is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
6. Indy Blue. No independently supported water-based Indy Blue hue/formulation is established. A similarly named blue or inferred H/C code is not used.
7. Yellow. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Yellow AK11044. Yellow is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
8. Orange Yellow. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Golden Yellow AK11041. Golden Yellow supplies a warm yellow-orange approximation, distinct from Orange and Yellow. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
9. Monza Red. No independently supported water-based Monza Red candidate is established. Preserve the source name and any bilingual Monza Red / Red Madder note without inventing code equivalence.
10. Shine Red. No sufficiently supported water-based Shine Red hue/finish candidate is established. Generic red does not establish its named hue or shine.
11. Blue Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Blue Grey AK11011. Blue Grey supplies a named blue-gray approximation; exact blue/gray balance is untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
12. Purple. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Purple AK11073. Purple is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Optional supplies are recommendations for the tasks described above, not manufacturer-required purchases. The AK 3GEN thinner applies only to the AK 3GEN candidates. Do not paint materials the original warns against painting. Digital color squares are browsing aids; they do not prove dried color, pigment strength, sheen, metallic reflection, transparency or a successful mixture.
