Construction and optional painting

The Force Impulse separates into the Chest Flyer, Leg Flyer, Core Splendor and Force Silhouette. Its included equipment covers the beam rifle, beam sabers and a shield with alternate open and closed arrangements. The parts list identifies PS runners, PE polycaps and foil stickers.

Check the camera-eye sticker choices before closing the head, and test each moving assembly before combining the sections. Use model nippers for assembly; fine tweezers are helpful for stickers. Painting is optional and Bandai recommends water-based paint. The pictured Action Base 2 is sold separately.

Materials in the parts list: PS runners A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, E, F1, F2 and SB-13; PE PC-002 polycaps.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

10 printed roles use 12 distinct named ingredients. 8 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. Body white: White 95% + Gray 5% + Blue small amount.

4. Shield black: Black 70% + White 30%.

1. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. White is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
2. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. Blue. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Deep Blue AK11182. Deep Blue supplies an opaque blue candidate, with untested depth and pigment strength. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Monza Red. No independently supported water-based Monza Red candidate is established. Preserve the source name and any bilingual Monza Red / Red Madder note without inventing code equivalence.
5. Violet. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Deep Violet AK11072. Violet is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
6. Black. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Black AK11029. Black is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
7. Cobalt Blue. AK11201 Cobalt Blue is explicitly in the metallic range. The source ordinary Cobalt Blue does not establish a metallic effect, so that candidate is rejected.
8. Light Blue (みず色). Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Sky Blue AK11175. Sky Blue offers a pale blue approximation for the printed light-blue ingredient. The Japanese spelling is retained. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
9. Indy Blue. No independently supported water-based Indy Blue hue/formulation is established. A similarly named blue or inferred H/C code is not used.
10. Yellow. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Yellow AK11044. Yellow is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
11. Orange. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Medium Orange AK11078. Orange is a named opaque water-based candidate. Exact source formulation and dried appearance are untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Do not paint materials the original warns against painting.
