Construction and optional painting

Painting is optional. The original recommends water-based paint and warns that painting ABS parts may damage them. Preserve joint fit and keep track of removed parts during Wave Rider conversion.

Use the supplied stickers and marking stickers as shown. Paint the sensor Silver first, then apply Clear Green as a separate topcoat.

Materials in the parts list: PS; ABS; PE.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

10 printed roles use 10 distinct named ingredients. 7 roles contain mixtures; 2 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. 肩部、背部等 / Shoulders, back etc.: Indy Blue 80% + Yellow Green 20%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Indy Blue has no chosen store match.
2. 胸部等 / Chest etc.: Midnight Blue 60% + White 20% + Indy Blue 20%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Indy Blue has no chosen store match.
3. 脇腹部等 / Flanks etc.: White 90% + Medium Blue 10% + Indy Blue small amount. Candidate recipe incomplete: Indy Blue, Medium Blue has no chosen store match.
4. 腹部、膝等 / Abdomen, knees etc.: White 100% + Medium Blue very small amount. Candidate recipe incomplete: Medium Blue has no chosen store match.
5. センサー部上塗 / Sensor top coat: Clear Green 100%.

Named ingredients and optional store candidates

8 mapped purchase cards and 2 disabled ingredient references cover all 10 named ingredients. Mapped cards represent 8 unique paint variants. Source-role counts are not purchase quantities. Each selected variant is added once, even if chosen for more than one source ingredient.

1. Indy Blue. No independently supported water-based Indy Blue hue/formulation is established. A similarly named blue or inferred H/C code is not used.
2. Yellow Green. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Interior Yellow Green AK11138. Interior Yellow Green supplies a yellow-green hue approximation. No aircraft-interior standard is assigned to the source. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
3. Midnight Blue. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Strong Dark Blue AK11187. Strong Dark Blue has a very dark, near-black blue chart sample. It is an approximation to the Midnight Blue hue, distinct from Navy Blue; no manufacturer crosswalk is claimed. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. AK11001 has a matching opaque color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
5. Medium Blue. The candidate AK11184 Medium Blue chart sample is a dark saturated blue, whereas these source roles use Medium Blue as blue-gray/gray. Without a calibrated or named formula bridge, same words alone do not establish a defensible candidate.
6. Clear Green. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Clear Green AK11216. AK11216 has a matching transparent color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: transparent.
7. Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. Neutral Grey is a generic gray approximation; it does not define the distinct named Neutral Gray source as an identical formulation. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Optional supplies are recommendations for the tasks described above, not manufacturer-required purchases. The AK 3GEN thinner applies only to the AK 3GEN candidates. Do not paint materials the original warns against painting.
