Construction and optional painting

Painting is optional. Cut plastic runners cleanly and follow the original joint assembly. Use the supplied sticker sheet for its indicated markings.

The five original color roles include separate Heat Hawk body and blade recipes.

Materials in the parts list: PS; ABS; PE.

The original recommends water-based paint and gives named ingredients without numerical H/C product codes. The water-based AK 3GEN store products below are optional approximate candidates, not manufacturer-specified paints or physically verified matches.

Complete original painting recipes

5 printed roles use 10 distinct named ingredients. 5 roles contain mixtures; 0 use separate paint layers. Original proportions describe the source paints. Ratios for these substitute pigments are unvalidated starting points: test and adjust a small dried sample. Unquantified additions remain unquantified. Keep undercoats and topcoats separate and let each layer dry.

1. 胸部、モモ、足首等 / Chest, thighs, ankles etc.: Cobalt Blue 50% + Indy Blue 25% + White 15% + Black 10%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Cobalt Blue, Indy Blue has no chosen store match.
2. 頭部、腰部等 / Head, waist etc.: Khaki Green 35% + White 25% + Yellow Green 20% + Neutral Gray 20%. Candidate recipe incomplete: Khaki Green has no chosen store match.
3. 関節部、武器等 / Joints, weapons etc.: Black 70% + White 30%.
4. ヒート・ホーク本体 / Heat Hawk body: Purple 80% + White 20%.
5. ヒート・ホーク刃 / Heat Hawk blade: Yellow 90% + Orange Yellow 10%.

Named ingredients and optional store candidates

7 mapped purchase cards and 3 disabled ingredient references cover all 10 named ingredients. Mapped cards represent 7 unique paint variants. Source-role counts are not purchase quantities. Each selected variant is added once, even if chosen for more than one source ingredient.

1. Cobalt Blue. AK11201 Cobalt Blue is explicitly in the metallic range. The source ordinary Cobalt Blue does not establish a metallic effect, so that candidate is rejected.
2. Indy Blue. No independently supported water-based Indy Blue hue/formulation is established. A similarly named blue or inferred H/C code is not used.
3. White. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic White AK11001. AK11001 has a matching opaque color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
4. Black. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Black AK11029. AK11029 has a matching opaque color-family sample in the manufacturer chart and current product photos. It is an approximate candidate; source formulation, pigment strength and dried appearance remain untested. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
5. Khaki Green. No candidate was established that resolves this source Khaki Green without imposing a more specific military standard. It remains distinct from Khaki and ordinary Green.
6. Yellow Green. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Interior Yellow Green AK11138. Interior Yellow Green supplies a yellow-green hue approximation. No aircraft-interior standard is assigned to the source. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.
7. Neutral Gray. Approximate candidate: 3G Acrylic Neutral Grey AK11018. The descriptive Neutral Grey candidate supports a neutral-gray approximation. Its bottle may also serve generic Gray while both ingredient names remain separate. Family: AK 3rd Generation. Finish/effect: matte.

Optional supplies are recommendations for the tasks described above, not manufacturer-required purchases. The AK 3GEN thinner applies only to the AK 3GEN candidates. Do not paint materials the original warns against painting. Digital color squares are browsing aids; they do not prove dried color, pigment strength, sheen, metallic reflection, transparency or a successful mixture.
