HMS Nelson was one of two Nelson-class Battleships built for the Royal Navy. Nelson was named after the great Admiral Horatio Nelson, who died a hero at the Battle of Trafalger in 1805. Since then, there have been various ships named after him. HMS Nelson was commissioned in August of 1927, and saw action during World War II, and was sold for scrap in 1949. This Tamiya kit provides a good basis of a waterline kit, and provides a good addition to a collection or fleet!
