ATOM COLOR Dark Olive Green (20072)
I am a long-time fan of Tamiya paints, but I am always on the lookout for something similar, especially if they have a large range of colors. Rudy at Lionheart recommended Atom acrylics, so I gave them a try. I was very impressed with the paints. I thinned them about 25% using Atom thinner, and sprayed them directly onto the plastic of the model using 18-20 psi. The paint was color-rich and opaque, and dried to a smooth, flat finish. So far it appears to be very rugged and able to withstand my ham-fisted handling. I plan to obtain the colors I need for my next model and use them exclusively for the build.
