At the heart of the force stands the Emperor’s Champion, a fearsome warrior blessed with visions and armed with the legendary Black Sword. He’s joined by three Bladeguard Veterans, perfect for breaking enemy lines, and five Sword Brethren – elite warriors trained for close-quarters combat. Supporting them is a Crusader Squad, ideal for holding objectives and bringing the fight to the enemy.

Together, these 19 miniatures form a complete Combat Patrol force, perfect for fast-paced games of Warhammer 40,000. The rules for this Combat Patrol are available for free on the Warhammer Community website.

This set builds 19 multipart plastic miniatures:
1x Emperor’s Champion
3x Bladeguard Veterans
5x Sword Brethren
10x Crusaders

The Bladeguard Veterans can be equipped with combinations of heavy bolt pistols, swords, and storm shields. The veteran sergeant can carry a heavy bolt pistol, plasma pistol, or neo-volkite pistol. The squad's heads, arms, and tilting plates are interchangeable for easy customisation.

The Sword Brethren are armed with bolt pistols and either chainswords or master-crafted power weapons. Additional loadout options include a thunder hammer, plasma pistol, two pyre pistols, and twin lightning claws. You can also build an optional Castellan with a bolt pistol or combi-weapon, paired with a chainsword or power weapon. Backpacks, shoulder pads, tilting plates, and heads can be mixed and matched across the squad.

The Crusader Squad includes six Initiates and four Neophytes. Neophytes can be equipped with Neophyte firearms or bolt pistols and chainswords. Initiates can carry bolt rifles or bolt pistols and chainswords, with two having the option to wield pyreblasters and two able to carry bolt pistols and power fists. One Initiate can be assembled as a Sword Brother with a master-crafted power weapon and either a bolt pistol or pyre pistol. Head and shoulder options are interchangeable across the squad, with additional relics, purity seals, and tilting plates included.

This kit contains 468 plastic components, 10 Citadel 40mm Round Bases, 4 Citadel 28mm Round Bases, 6 Citadel 32mm Round Bases, and 2 Black Templars Upgrades Transfer Sheets – each with 240 high-quality waterslide transfers to personalise your miniatures.

Miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted. For best results, use Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
