Feathered Adventures is a diceless tabletop RPG where you take on the roles of quirky, anthropomorphic birds navigating pulpy, over-the-top adventures. Whether you're chasing treasure, solving mysteries, or hosting dramatic parties, you'll face your flaws head-on and (hopefully) come out on top. Light on prep and big on fun, the game plays great with or without a Game Master and is perfect for 3–6 players in short one-shots or slightly longer campaigns.

If you enjoy stories filled with humor, heart, action, and a splash of drama, Feathered Adventures is for you.

Inside the 136-page book, you’ll find:

  • A diceless system where players choose whether to succeed at a cost or fail—no random rolls, just meaningful choices

  • Options for GM-less or GM-led play

  • 6 ready-made character broods (like the Standard Brood, Junior Brood, Drama Brood, and more)

  • 12 charmingly flawed character archetypes—from the absent-minded genius to the hot-headed hero

  • 24 prewritten adventures across 6 pulpy genres: treasure hunts, explorations, contests, enemy attacks, investigations, and fancy parties

  • Tools to personalize characters and adventure structures

  • Advice for pacing, improvising, and managing extras (supporting characters)

  • Guidelines for building short campaigns and dynamic session flow

  • A whole flock of obstacles to challenge your characters along the way

The game is beautifully laid out by Nicolas Folliot, with a cover by momatoes, illustrations by Helkarava, François Maumont, and Clément de Ruyter, and guest content from celebrated designers like Vivien Féasson, Grant Howitt, Guylène le Mignot, Rae Nedjadi, Julien Pouard, and Melville Tilh-Pluñvenn.

Characters are created through narrative prompts—questions about their personalities, relationships, and quirks. Each has a unique way to guarantee success: for example, a wealthy but kind-hearted bird must give something up to succeed fully. Adventure types come with tailored progression mechanics to ensure every story feels fresh and distinct.

Beyond that? It’s all freeform storytelling—fast, fun, and feathered.
