In Kingdom Builder, players compete to create the most prosperous kingdom by strategically placing settlements across a dynamic, ever-changing landscape. The goal: earn the most gold by the end of the game.

Each turn, you’ll play a terrain card and place three settlements on matching hexes. If possible, you must build adjacent to your existing settlements—encouraging tight, tactical decisions. Building next to special locations grants powerful action tiles, which can be used on future turns to perform unique moves, like relocating settlements or placing extras.

Constructing near castles awards gold at the game's end, but the real challenge lies in fulfilling the three Kingdom Builder cards drawn at the start. These cards—randomly selected from a set of ten—define the specific conditions for scoring gold that game, such as building next to water or dominating sectors of the board.

With variable terrain boards, location tiles, action abilities, and scoring objectives, no two games are ever the same—ensuring endless replayability and evolving strategy.
