Cold weather drives Central Texans inside! LionHeart Hobby makes that more fun!

We have been experiencing cold like we rarely see here in Central Texas. For our Northern friends, we realize this is nothing (single digit temps coming on Monday!!) but for us Texans who oftentimes do not even own a coat, it has been frigid! Our roads are icy, our plants are in shock, and our pets are wondering what the heck is going on. Many of us have even been sent home from work due to dangerous road conditions.

With the temps forcing us all inside, and Covid continuing to affect how we can socialize, it really is a great time to pick up a model, paint a miniature, work on a puzzle, or play a board game with the family.

Last week we teased a new department and if you follow us on Facebook, you saw that we are now carrying slot cars! We continue to grow and experiment with different departments to serve our local community because at the end of the day, we are here for you.

To that end, we are listening to many of you who have told us you love wargaming. As you know, we have recently partnered with Games Workshop and this week we signed with a new distributor: Battlefront Miniatures! Look for a new display early next week and we will highlight some of the products in next week's newsletter - and of course, if you follow us on social media, you'll get a peak at it there once we have the display set up.

LionHeart Hobby has been open for about 2.5 months now and we already look so different than what we did on our opening day. We continue to listen to you and to do the best we can to fill our store with products that you will find interesting and fun. If you haven't been in for awhile, we invite you to just come look.
