News From the Game Department

Catan has released a 5-6 player expansion pack for Starfarers of Catan and though we didn't grab that yet, we DID get Catan: Starfarers 2nd Edition. With the pandemic, we weren't sure that many people were playing with 5-6 people right now but we've heard that Starfarers is an epic expansion and so we have it in stock. Let us know if you want the new 5-6 player expansion and we can get it in very quickly! We also got some brand new releases in this week that are highlighted below. Stop in the store to see them all (Holi - Festival of Colors is one of the most colorful and stunning looking games of 2020!).

We are waiting on a new display case to come in for our miniatures because we brought in a LOT this week! We will continue to grow our line of role-playing games and accessories (we have a few D&D books in stock!) and always welcome your feedback.

Finally, this week, in honor of the new release from Z-Man Games, Paleo, we are spotlighting cooperative games in stock at LionHeart Hobby. Our family started playing cooperative games this year and were shocked how much we love them! As someone who LOVES competition and winning, I didn't think I would like them but, it turns out that beating the game as a family (when you can do it) is bonding and gives everyone great feelings. Not a bad thing. Check out some of the titles below and give one a try.

News From the Model Department

This week we have seen some really outstanding subjects arrive! Kitty Hawk's large scale Seahawk helicopter series arrived all at once, as did a couple of great new ProfiPack treatments from Eduard. Tamiya has marched on in their series of 1/35 armor with an all new tool Panzer IVF.1, and Italeri has kept up with the big boys by offering a newly tooled Semovente with interior.

In terms of support supplies, we received our color strips from Tamiya for the standard 10ml bottle rack, but the assembly hardware won't arrive until mid next week. We have practically all the colors here in the shop in the meantime, so it is no trouble at all to get you fixed up. The TS and AS color spray rack is on backorder, but we do have a number of the popular colors in stock. Flex-i-File's big shipment did finally cross the Canadian border into the U.S., so we are hopeful for its arrival finally next week.

Even though shipments from Spain have been spotty since March, we have a Model Color rack ready to ship from Vallejo likely next week. We will fill all the slots that we can and back up with more as shipments are received from across the Atlantic.
