How: Entrants will receive emailed instruction for preparation. Your Dungeon Master will work closely with you prior to the campaign so you are fully prepared for the adventure.
This One-Shot is an arena style combat based game where players will have the opportunity to play both Level 4 characters that they bring to the table, and/or the monsters on the table. Welcome to the city of Albia. Several decades ago the city was the victim of continued Giant attacks. For a time, the people of Albia tried to fight back against those giants, even managing to have small successes bring a few of them down. But after years of continued attacks the people eventually abandoned there once extravagant city. Several years later it is now a ghost town, a place that stories are told that keep children up night. A place where teenagers dare each other to go but are almost always too afraid to venture themselves. A place that is said to hold numerous treasures left behind by the people who abandoned their city. A place perfect for an investigation by the “Monster Offense Militia” or M.O.M. For short.
“Because when things get scary….you gotta call M.O.M.”
At least that’s what we thought. A few weeks ago A M.O.M. Task force was sent into the town to investigate the rumors of monsters and treasure. M.O.M. Headquarters only heard their screams before they lost contact with them all together. That is why we are sending in you…our elite squad of monster hunters. To search the city for any signs of the team sent in before you…and also the treasure…but mostly the people….but also….TREASURE…..
This is a combat heavy game that will last 4-5 hours. Players will be asked to create characters before coming to the table. Help will be provided if needed. New players are welcome. Ages: 15 and up. Table will be a safe space of encouragement. Bad attitudes need not apply.
Dungeon Master:
Benjamin Tubbs is a prop-maker for the film industry by trade, and a Dungeon and Dragons enthusiast. He currently runs social media accounts, DnDnFamily, with his wife, Amanda Tubbs, that focuses on running games with the whole family. He has been running games for over 4 years and has even had the opportunity run an online streamed game for the popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer Dadfeels. He loves introducing players to the game, and will work with players to understand rules and mechanics.
